Class Descriptions
-
Great for those new to Pilates, or those more experienced looking for a slower paced class to deepen and connect to the Pilates movement principles. This class will build the foundation for your wellness journey.
-
A full body workout fusing classical pilates exercises with a modern twist. This class is taught at a faster pace and incorporates more challenging movements to keep you progressing. This class will define your whole core structure and sculpt your muscles while improving posture, flexibility and your mind body connection.
-
This class is for advanced clients that have a comprehensive understanding of the Pilates principles and repertoire. Know names and setup positions of exercises performed and have a clear understanding of the reformer and how springs are used with each exercise.
Students will be challenging their bodies in a paced format where balance and stability are a must. We suggest little to no injuries and clients must know modifications previously provided if needed.
Must be approved by an instructor before signing up.
-
A slow paced class focusing on the fundamental movements, stretch and balance. This is great for everyone but especially any with limitation from past injuries.
-
Restore, lengthen and open your body in our restorative stretch class. This class will use the reformer, mat and foam roller to help you open your body, release tight muscles and increase mobility. This class is suitable for all levels and encouraged to mix in as part of your wellness routine.
-
Just like our fundamental class, this is great for those new to jumpboard classes or those more experienced looking for a slower paced class to deepen and connect to the Pilates movement principles.
The jumpboard employs the principles of plyometrics to train coordination, strengthen muscles, and burn calories. It attaches to the end of the reformer and allows you to get cardio training with very little stress or impact on the joints. It develops and strengthens the fast twitch muscles without compression, helping to improve speed, agility and power. The varying spring tensions help the muscles tone without bulking.
Please note, we suggest jumpboard participants should have no significant pre-existing injuries and if you are unsure if JUMP! is suitable for your body, please talk to an instructor in the studio or email us soar@soarpilates.com.

We suggest clothing that is fitted but comfortable to move in. This helps us see the body and notice any shifts in alignment. We also do require grip socks - don’t have any, we have some in studio that you can purchase or you can order from many online sites.
-
First off, we all have to start somewhere right? And we promise, all of our instructors are loving, supportive, and non judgmental. We would suggest starting with any of our Fundamental (mat or reformer) or our Restore and Balance classes. Still not sure? Send us an email and we can set up a private 1:1 session to be sure you feel your best!

Reformer is 5 people max and our mat class are 8 people max. Our studio is small and intimate, but you’ll have plenty of space around you so you don’t bump into your neighbor!
